YOUNG-IN Biotech's ESWT Device,
Recognized as a 2025 Next-Generation World-Class Product
The extracorporeal shock wave therapy(ESWT) product of YOUNG-IN Biotech, a domestic medical device manufacturer, has
been selected as a "2025 World-Class Product and Manufacturer", a program hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and
Energy(MOTIE) and organized by KOTRA(Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency).
On the 18th, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy announced the "2025 World-Class Products and Manufacturers" to discover and support excellent products and companies with the potential to lead the global market, and YOUNG-IN Biotech received official certification in the Next-Generation World-Class Product category.
At the World Class Product Certification Ceremony held at Lotte Hotel World on the 18th, KOTRA Vice President Kang Sang-yeop(left) is awarding a certificate to YOUNG-IN Biotech Vice President Kim Nam-young(right).
Next-Generation World-Class Product is a national certification granted to products and companies that are evaluated as having the potential to rank within the top 5 in global market share within the next seven years. Selected companies are given priority access to various export support services, including ▲overseas marketing ▲R&D (research and development) ▲financial support ▲professional consulting ▲support for participation in overseas exhibitions. Through this program, MOTIE and KOTRA aim to strengthen global competitiveness and diversify Korea' s export items.
YOUNG-IN Biotech's ESWT product has been recognized for its technological excellence in the domestic market and has gradually expanded its market share overseas as well. In particular, its high-precision focused piezoelectric technology, continuous quality improvement, and achievements in participating in international medical device exhibitions have been highly evaluated, thereby officially acknowledging its potential for global growth.
This selection as a World-Class Product signifies that the extracorporeal shock wave device developed based on domestic technology has sufficient competitiveness in the global market, and the company plans to further strengthen research and development and expand overseas marketing in order to grow into a top-tier global medical device company.
